He is survived by: his wife Glynda Tyer of Palestine, TX; his sons, Randy Tyer (Martha) of Palestine, TX and Kevin Tyer (Amy) of Katy, TX; his sisters, Ruby Waggoner of Bossier City, LA, Juanita Seckler of Elkhart, TX and Doris Allison of Palestine, TX; his grandchildren, Brandon Tyer, Katherine Tyer, Luke Mosley, Jacob Mosley, Hanna Tyer and Rachel Tyer; and his great grandchildren, Douglas and Castiel Mosley.
The family requests that flowers be sent to Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home and welcomes donations to Calvary Baptist Church in John's memory.
