He is survived by: his children, Diane Beatey (Joey) of Waxahachie, Jimmy Jezek (Cathy) of Athens and Darlene Bourque (Kevin) of Palestine; his sister-in-law Mae Godwin; his siblings, Mary Jane Soupe of Mt. Ida, Joey Jezek (Chris) of Round Rock, Katherine Brown (Steve) of Alto and Linda Klaus (Billy) of Leroy, Texas; his sister-in-law Rose Jezek; his grandchildren, Dusty Ledbetter (Jessica), Holly Jones (Justin), Katy Evans (Bryan), Seth Jezek (Stephanie) and Haley Jezek; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Leighton, Jocelyn, Jackson, Jayci, Josie, Hudson (Bubba), Cameron, Miles, Lilly, Ruby, Betsy and Harper.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery (3100 FM317, Athens, TX 75752).
Services for Jim Jezek, 92, of Palestine, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor David Franklin and Pastor Mark Parkinson officiating.
