He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Mitchell and Loraine Mitchell; his grandson Tyler Mitchell; and his son Scott Gotcher. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his son James Mitchell (Susan); his daughter-in-law Beth Gotcher; his brother Paul Mitchell (Sally); and his grandchildren, Eric, Grace Gotcher, Ryan Garcia and Amber Williams.
