He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Chatham and Charlcie Owens Chatham. He is survived by: his wife Delphine "Della" Chatham; his daughter Cynthia Rondeau (Stace); and his brother Jerry Chatham (Valree).

A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gholson Cemetery (950 Wildcat Cir, Waco, TX 76705).
