He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Almond Sustaita; his children, Tracy Tucker Sustaita, Eddie Sustaita, Jr. and Regina Rhone (Jeremy); his stepdaughters, Wanda Lambright, Dianne Johnson and Toni Slider; and his siblings, Darlene Brown, Jeanette Lambright and Tony Sustaita. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; twenty-one step great-grandchildren; and many friends.
