He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dykes and Ruby Dykes; his aunts and uncles, Elene Ward, Robbie Faulk, Linda, Allen Havard and Johnny Ward; his cousin Donna Havard; and his sister-in-law Amy Wagstaff.
He is survived by: his wife Teri; his son Jacob Dykes of Palestine; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Wagstaff of Jefferson; his brothers, Will Dykes of Tennessee Colony and Jason (Amanda Dykes); his close friend Daniel Wilson; and also Cyndi Faulk of Lumberton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; brother/cousin.
