He was predeceased by: his former wife Mona Karen Fitzgerald; his mother Valley Humphrey; and his brother Max Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Joyce Fitzgerald; his son Curtis W. Fitzgerald II; his daughter-in-law Stefani Fitzgerald; his grandsons, Stone Fitzgerald and Curtis W. Fitzgerald III; and his sister Sue White.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (1500 Crockett Rd, Palestine, TX 75801).
