It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Susan Buchanan in Palestine, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Cox and Alma Cox (Chesshir); her husband Dennis Buchanan; her son Doyce Buchanan; and her siblings, Nona Sowell, Elsie Barker and Leon Cox.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Marla Buchanan; her daughter Lynn Buchanan (Terry Cole); and her granddaughter Bethany (Shawn Shores).
