It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ray Sexton (Palacios, Texas), born in Ganado, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aris Melvin Sexton and Emma Ellen Sampson Sexton; and his brothers, Robert Sexton and Jessie Owen Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Byron Sexton; his sons, William Ray Sexton Jr. (Debbie Lynn), Kenneth Wayne Sexton (Lisa Rae) and Gregory Keith Sexton Sr. (Christian Jean); his sisters, Dora Gulley and Alice Kirkland; his grandchildren, Candis Silva (David Silva), William Ray Sexton III, Tanner Wayne Sexton, Taylor Rae Sexton, Timothy Reed Sexton, Gregory Keith Sexton Jr. (Jessica Sexton) and Katelyn Nicole Sexton; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Slade Silva, Nolan Ray Sexton and Gregory Keith Sexton III. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
