He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon L. Connor and Mary O'Byrne Connor. He is survived by: his wife Diane Connor of Palacios; his children, Janet Kolaski (Christopher) of Humble and Patrick Connor (Cheryl) of Santa Fe; his siblings, Mary Ann Grant (Ted) of Pasadena and James Connor (JoAnn) of Kilgore; and his grandchildren, Cheyenne Barham (Heath) and Christopher Connor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations in memory of John Connor may be made to St. Jude Hospital, MD Anderson or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
