It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Albert Sliva (Palacios, Texas), born in Wallis, Texas, who passed away on May 29, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jean Sliva; and his siblings, Edward B. Sliva, Elija Sliva, Bessie Marek and Edith Watson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Ross (Fortune) and Linda Biskup (Adolph); his grandchildren, Chris Sexton (Greg), Jennifer Montague, Cathy Rickaway (Kevin), Mark Biskup (Susan), Jeff Biskup (Terrie) and Steven Biskup (Vicki); his great grandchildren, Gregory Sexton (Jessica), Katelyn Sexton, Blaike Montague, Jordan Rickaway, Taylor Rickaway, Makayla Biskup, Tori Biskup, Sara Biskup, Brian Biskup, Adam Biskup and Chance Biskup; his great great grandchild Cason Biskup; and his siblings, Tony Sliva (Hazel) and Vicki Garcia (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in John's name to Houston Hospice – El Campo.
