It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Ruth Gilbert Gideon (Palacios, Texas), who passed away on July 6, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Amanda and John Porter Gilbert; her husband Kermit S. Gideon, Sr.; and her siblings, John, Calvin, Dorothy and Myrtle.
She is survived by: her sister Eva Knight. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Kermit S. Gideon, Jr. and Ruth, and Eileen Eikenberg and Charles; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Palacios.
