It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Herrera Alderete (Palacios, Texas), born in Poteet, Texas, who passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Anita Alderete, Aurelio Alderete, Rafel Alderete and George Alderete. She is survived by: her daughter Rosemary H. Alderete; her sisters, Lina Alderete Gamino (Paul) of Lake Jackson and Lola Vallejo (Edward) of Rosenberg; her sister-in-law Anita Alderete; her grandchildren, Stephanie Nieto (Eduardo), Stephen M. Alderete and Gabriel Rubio; and her great grandchildren, Emma S. Nieto and Eliana H. Nieto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
