It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kocurek (Palacios, Texas), born in Hillje, Texas, who passed away on November 12, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignac Shimek and Angeline Tannich Shimek; her husband Paul; and her sons, David and Richard Kocurek.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Barnett (Glen), Margaret Pena (Fred), Angelina Castanon (Isidro), Melissa Brown (Mike), Jerome Kocurek (Jackie), Thomas Kocurek (Debbi), Andrew Kocurek (Theresa), Timothy Kocurek, Patrick Kocurek (Linda) and Christopher (Ana); and her daughter-in-law Rita Kocurek. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
