It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha G. Martino of Palacios, Texas, born in Los Indios, Texas, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Guerra and Catarina Pena Guerra; her husband Tom O. Martino; her siblings, Antonia Flores, Elfida Frangullie, Roy Guerra and Joe Guerra; and her son-in-law Ronnie Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Anthony Martino and Dorothy "Dottie" Mills; her grandchildren, Ryan Sanders, Lauren Cruz (Carlos) and Jason Frangullie, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Ian Hinds, Carter Cruz and Silas Cruz; and her sisters, Lydia Longoria, Olga Latapie and Oralia Mijares (Joe). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
