He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Shipman; and his mother-in-law Bernice Grey. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Shipman (Loveall); his wife Wanda Elaine Alverson; his children, Curt Shipman, Erick Shipman (Afton), Darren Shipman, Kori Baughman (Josh), Jackie Thompson and Melissa Thompson; his stepfather Ronnie Brown; and his siblings, Dewayne and Pamela Shipman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many more nieces and nephews, and so many great friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
