It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Earl Birkhead of Paducah, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Birkhead and Annie May Birkhead; his sisters, Unita Birkhead and Myrtle Ruth Boyette; his brother-in-law Carroll Tucker of Odessa; his daughter Barbara Davis; his granddaughter Stacie Davis; his son-in-law Jimmy Davis; and his stepson-in-law Regan Holley.
He is survived by: his former spouse Willie Mae Whittington; his wife Esta Mae Bryant; his sisters, Ruby Tucker of Odessa and Mary Etta Smith (Donald); his children, Carolyn Slover (Donnie) of Paducah and Dennis Birkhead (Andrea) of Amarillo; his stepchildren, Troy Bryant (Debbie) of Arlington, John Bryant (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Robert Bryant of Levelland, George Bryant (Kay) of Vernon and Carmen Holley of Paducah; and his great grandchild Jacob Lecroy.
