She was predeceased by: her parents, G. S. Barnes and Mattie Barnes (Press Canon); her son-in-law Micky Hurt; and her siblings, Silbert, Keith, Kenny, Neulyn, Shirley, Tommy, Charlie, Marjean Lindsey and Woodward.
She is survived by: her spouse Presley B Canon; her daughters, Connie Beck (Steve) and Susie Hurt of Paducah; her sisters, Windol Burks of Paducah and Peggy Cowart of Shallowater; her grandchildren, Steven Beck (Dana) of Paducah, Lacey Brewer (Chris) of Paducah, Jeremy Beck (Traci) of Paducah and Bri Wiley (Chris) of Paducah; her great grandchildren, Austin Mackey (Dakota), Madison Beck, Jordan Mackey, Marley Beck, Kadyn Mackey, Jodi Beck, Bryson Davis, Kadee Beck, Brody Beck, Payton Wiley, Pyper Wiley and Makenna Casey; and her great great grandchild Presley Mackey.
Memorial donations in honor of Betty Canon can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Paducah.
