She was predeceased by: her parents, William Morris and Viola Morris; her husband Melvin Smith (Mody); her son Gordon Smith; and her grandchildren, Summer Martin (Stephen), Anna Byers (Jack), Chandler Edwards (Andrew), Emily Fisher (Jeffrey), Chloe Blades (Randy), Ali Garcia (Arnulfo) and Ace Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Smith (Rhonda), Janelle Smith Persall (Tim) and Todd Smith (Carrie); her daughter-in-law Becky Smith; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Jesse Martin, Juniper, Yvette Byers and Everett Edwards.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (820 N 11th St, Paducah, TX 79248). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
