He is survived by: his wife Beatrice (Pretty Bea); his children, Susie V. Martinez (Lonnie), Edmundo Jr., Willie (Valicia) and Oscar; and his siblings, Blanca Castro, Lupe Longoria, Linda Rodriguez, Blas, Richard, Ernesto and Humberto. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
