He is survived by: his wife Lupe Gomez; his children, Elizabeth Diane Martinez and Gilbert Gomez (Santos); and his grandchildren, Marty (Kara Martinez), Misty (Joe Jurado), Mitchell Martinez, Amber Gomez, Patricia Villarreal and Gilbert Gomez. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
