He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hassell and Lucille Hassell; his grandchildren, LaDonna and Mitchell Lee; and his parents-in-law, Jim, Bruce, Kim, Lowell, Millie and Susie.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Phyllis, Mitch, Willis (Linda) and Sam; his grandchildren, April, Chad, Aaron, Morgan, Michael and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Corban, Aowyn and Mitchell Lee, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members and many long-time friends.
