He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe B. Knott and Alma Knott (Drain); his siblings, Joe Knott and Nancy Riegel; and his sons, Jack Knott Jr. and Eric Knott.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Campbell; his children, Greg Knott and Linda Henderson (Jack); and his grandchildren, Aaron Knott (Kandi), Michael McDaniel (Katy), Lee McDaniel (Ashley), Kelli D'Angelo (Paul) and Lindsay Cottle (Terry). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
