With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ann (Garcia) Edwards of Ore City, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Virginia Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Virginia Ann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Edwards and Maud Edwards; her grandson John Haley; and her stepson Gus Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Joanna Haley of Ore City, John Garcia (Tammy) of Harleton, Charlie Garcia of Ore City, Danny Garcia (Sandra) of Canton, Georgia and Mark Garcia of Arlington. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Ore City (109 US-259, Ore City, TX 75683). Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
