He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roeder and Olga Roeder; his daughter Donna Jo Roeder; and his siblings, Vernon Roeder, John Roeder, Edwin Roeder, Alfred Roeder, Deloris Oden, Lucille Thompson and Marcia Vick.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Roeder of Ore City; his son Lyle; his daughter-in-law Debbie Potter; his grandchildren, Jessica Powell (Kevin) and Trey Potter (Cammie); and his great grandchildren, Reed and Lane.
