He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Esquivel Jr. and Sylvia Esquivel; and his sister Patricia Salinas. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Leyva (Arturo) and Ovidio Esquivel Jr. (Meghan); his grandsons, Raul of Nicky, AJ, Pablo and Anthony; his great grandchild Aiden; his sisters, Margarita Alvarez, Genevieve Salinas (Tony), Onelia Molina and Esperanza Joyce (David); and his former wife Lucia Esquivel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as friends.
