She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie May (Battles) and George Wesley Johnson; her husband Clinton Doyle "Buddy" Burnett; her children, Karen Simmons and John Clinton Burnett; and her brothers, Wesley Johnson and Pete (Ruthie Johnson).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mae (Phillip Mullins), Connie (Darrell Wade), Ruthie Yocum of Ore City and Nancy (Tony Howard); and her brothers, James Johnson and Thomas Johnson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
