She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bailey and Mae Francis Hill Bailey; her husband Tom Simpson; her sons, Thurman Richardson and Gene Proctor Jr.; and her siblings, Lawrence Bailey, Charles Bailey, Carl Bailey Jr., Johnny Bailey Sr. and Irene Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette Rose (Mack Rose Sr.), Tina Proctor, Lynette Tisdale (J. C.) and Sherry Bailey; and her brothers, Maurice Bailey (Danetta) and Leroy Bolden (Cynthia). She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
