It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Lou Stanley of Ore City, Texas, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simmons and Delia Knight Simmons; her husband Bobby Joe Stanley; and her son Jimmy Ray Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Gene Stanley, Joe Randall Stanley, Ivan S. Stanley and Sharon Anne Maxwell; and her siblings, J. D., Joe, Gary Simmons and Nellie Jean Clark. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
