He was predeceased by: his parents, Audie V Harris (Bo) and Vennie Rea Harris (Mama); his parents-in-law, Jennings and Ruby Scoggins; his sister Geneva Honea; and his close friend Prince.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ruth Harris of Ore City; his children, Tammy (Jeff Ferguson) of Arlington and Michael (Martha Harris) of Houston; his granddaughters, Maddison Runfola of Arlington, Amber Harris of Houston, Natasha Ferguson of Arlington, Bates and Emma Wallace; and his siblings, Merle Bell of Gilmer, Debbie (Steve Hart) of Diana, Gene (Kay Harris) of Dangerfield and Tracy Harris (Mindy) of Ore City.
