He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hamby and Lu Ann Taylor Hamby; and his brother Taylor Cade. He is survived by: his wife Lori Searcy; his children, Robert Hamby, Lindsay Hamby, Hayden Hamby, Brittany Searcy, Bradley Hendrix, Courtney Hendrix and Ryan Hendrix; and his siblings, Ken Hamby (Dana), Belinda Thompson (Richard), Genese Smith and Bobby.
