He is survived by: his son Donald Beene (Heather Beene); his wife Rita Beene; his daughters, Rita (Freddie Simmons Sr.) and Debra (Jerry Butler); his siblings, Carolyn Hicks, Brenda Hamilton, Bobby Beene, Rita Hammit and Paula Graham; his grandchildren, Page (Trent Smith), Brittney Shaffer, ShaKamery (Frank Miller), Caitlyn Beene and Freddie Simmons Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Caden, Tarquin, Axel, Za'Aire, Kyndal, Zavian and Zonaleagh. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
