He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Payne and Myrtle Wilson Payne; his daughter Robin Head; and his grandchildren, Dillon Witherill and Melissa Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Payne; his children, Kathy Karr and Boyd Keith Payne; his sisters, Ruby Pirkey Brouillette and Wilma Newton; and his grandchildren, Bradley Strickland, Keenan Payne, Kameron Payne, Collin Payne, Clayton Payne and Kristi Witherill. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
