He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Townsend and Lulu Mae Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Pamela R. Townsend; his children, James Darryl Taylor, Cory Allen Taylor, Robert Townsend, Jr. and Rayna Renee Taylor; and his siblings, Sandy Townsend, Johnny Townsend, Jr., Lillie Anderson, Mary Murphy, Clara Harris, Sandra Townsend and Barbara Townsend. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren as well as other loving family members and friends.
