She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruby Lee and Floyd Pinkney Bishop; her children, Shirley Toungate Austin (Rod) and Dennis Toungate (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Misty Pagel (Ezra), Aaron Schuelke, Marisa Eastmon, Mark Schuelke, Jeremy Toungate (Erin), Brandy Crober (TJ), Jessie Bolding (Amber), Paisley Bolding, Kenny Austin (Rosemary) and Kristi Augustine (Sheldon). She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
