He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton E. Wade and Lydia Wade (Nerren); his wife Helen Wade; and his siblings, Beeman Wade and Zemma Stark.
He is survived by: his son Van Edward Wade (Laura); his grandchildren, Joseph Adams, Caleb Adams and Emily Davis; and his sister-in-law Bernice Wade. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
