He was predeceased by: his parents, Leoda Phillips Copeland and Ottis Lavoy Copeland; his son Gary Copeland; and his grandsons, Clayton Lewis and Bo Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Lewis and Larry Copeland; his grandchildren, Lindsey Manley (Matt), Courteney Lewis, Layne Lewis and Megan Haleen; his great grandchildren, Bryce Haleen, Logan Copeland, Hollis Manley and Mallory Manley; his siblings, Nelda Sue Vasek, Linda Kay Dupuis (Boo) and Fred Copeland (Janet); and the mother of his children Jeanette Copeland.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dorman Funeral Home (8808 TX-87, Orange, TX 77632). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (4560 TX-87, Orange, TX 77630).
