It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Dale Carlton of Orange, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary Carlton and Mary Jane Camerzel Carlton; and his brother Clai Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Dale Clark Carlton; his children, Eryn Carlton Lucas Tays (Frankie) and Brint Carlton (Claire); his grandchildren, Bryson Lucas, Briggs Lucas, Mayve Carlton, Ridge Carlton, Marlee and HannahGrace Jackson; his sister Susie Cheney (Briggs); his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Zach, Clayton, Molly, Mary, Fred and German; and also, Antje, Christian and Nadine. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Turning Point Church (3600 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
