She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Byrd and Minnie Byrd (Crawford). She is survived by: her husband Coach David L. Thompson; and her children, Stacy Deville, Christy Stillwell, Shane Mortensen, Michelle Storms and Amy Plain. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
