He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Ellen See Bertrand and James Clarence Bertrand; his children, Diane Silver (Mark), Christopher Bertrand (Chanthea) and Holli Bertrand of Orange; his brother Clarence Bertrand of Lumberton; his grandchildren, David Silver, Elisabella Bertrand of Orange, Forrest Coffie of Beaumont, River VanMeter (Gabbi) of Orange and Lake VanMeter (Sabrina) of Boston, Massachusetts.; and his brothers, Reagan Bertrand and Ronald Bertrand.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family and Friends Broussard's Mortuary (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77713). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Broussard's (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77713). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Rest Cemetery (13851 US-90, Beaumont, TX 77713).
