He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Bendy and Margaret Bendy (Johnson); his wife Pat Bendy; his children, Rhonda Droddy and Nathan Ray Carrico; and his siblings, Johnny Bendy, Florene LeBlanc, Frances Hoosier and Allen Bendy.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Dee Viator (Gary Peery) of Orange, Rebecca Jean Harvey (Robbin) of Vidor, Melinda Ann Smith (Frank) of Pollock, Stacey Bendy Jeffrey (John) of Bridge City and Dr. David Jones (Danika) of Orange; and his sister Jerry Hughes (Maac). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
