She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Jefferson (Lynch) and William Jefferson; her husband Jerry Scott, Sr.; and her son Tommie Lee Scott. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Scott, Jr. (Karin) of Houston, David Scott (Jamilah) of Austin, TX, Lois Jean Scott of Houston and Carolyn Ann Scott of Houston; and her siblings, William Jefferson of Orange and Hannah Majors (Joe) of Houston. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (1409 6th St, Orange, TX 77630). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Magnolia Memorial Gardens (5215 N 16th St, Orange, TX 77632).
