Though Rita Slaughter may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burl Slaughter and Sarah Letitia Williams Slaughter; her brother William Burl Slaughter, Jr.; and her cousin Billy Slaughter. She is survived by: her daughter Heather Dalrymple (Ed Loewenstein); and her siblings, Lou Smith, Doris Wilson (Harvey), Kenneth Slaughter (Cindi) and Nancy Richards (Wellman). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
