He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch F. Gray and Anna Stanis Gray; his spouse Beverly "Coleen" Gray; and his siblings, Nancy Gray, Barbara Haywood, Patty Foster, Leona Lentz and John "Jack" Gray.
He is survived by: his niece DeAnna Simmons; his great-niece Sarah Simmons; and his great-nephew Geoffrey Simmons. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1441 Monument Ave, Springfield, IL 62702).
