He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ruel and Oneida Gordon of Joaquin, Texas.; his brother Arnold Bert Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, John L Arbuckle, Gene Arbuckle, Bill Arbuckle, Talma Arbuckle and Trudy Arbuckle.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Arbuckle Gordon; his son John Gordon of Mauriceville; his daughter-in-law Sandy Gordon; his daughter Rhonda Harvey (Bill) of Buna, Texas; his grandchildren, Rachel Bennett, Lane Gordon and Kayla Gordon; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Garrett Bennett; his brother John Gordon of Joaquin, Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Keiko Gordon of Gig Harbor and Pat Arbuckle of Logansport, Louisiana..
