He is survived by: his wife Betty Tallant Thompson of Orange; his children, James Thompson of Orange, Clarissa Thompson of Austin and Kayleigh Thompson (Jay Martinez) of Austin; his siblings, Greg Thompson (Susan) of Orange, Suzanne Thompson of Beaumont, Bruce Thompson (Crystal) of Orange and Mark Thompson of Beaumont; and his brother-in-law John Tallant (Gwen).
