She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Whitaker and Helen Gill Whitaker; her daughter Michelle Greenwell; her sister Brenda Neely; and her sister-in-law Earlene Marze.
She is survived by: her husband Langston Frederick; her daughter Lois Frederick; her grandchildren, Heather McLaughlin (Luis), Kayleigh Hester (Michael) and T. J. Greenwell (Aliza); her great grandchildren, Evelyn Hester and Harlow Hester; and her siblings, Mildred Creed, Wendy Whitaker, Barbara Whitaker and Wilton Whitaker. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren but also their friends.
