He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen M. Steverson; his children, Desmond Edwards, Homer B. Samuel, Demarcus Edwards, Daltry Edwards, Donovan Edwards, Inez R. Steverson, Julia N. Steverson and Kianna A. Brooks; and his brother Vernon D. Steverson.
