She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Sailes and Captain Weldon Sailes; her husband Kenneth Hughes; and her daughter Aurora Leigh. She is survived by: her sons, Tony Elyas and Luke Hughes; her brothers, Frank and Ricky; her grandsons, Jordan and Layne; her friends, Rita Laughlin, Cleo Martin, Elaine McManness and Mary Lou Denson; and her pet Roxie. She is also survived by three sister in laws; dozens of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in LeVonia's honor be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
