He is survived by: his children, Romela Sheppard of Knoxville, Johnny Sheppard III (Davie) of Pine Forest, Perry Sheppard (Pam) of Alvin and Cindy Overman (Jeff) of Orangefield; his grandchildren, Jonathan Sheppard, Kurt Sheppard, Jennifer Sheppard, Nolan Sheppard, Breanna Holland, Ally Overman and Abby DuBois; his great grandchildren, Hazel Holland and Hattie Holland; and his sisters, Dorothy Berry and Joyce Dennis.
